Locations

The Locations feature lets you manage multiple business locations under the same Zavo account. It’s useful if you operate multiple shops, branches, or venues.

What you can do with locations

With locations, you can:

  • View earnings per location

  • See the number of terminals assigned to each location

  • Track transactions and volume per location

  • Assign terminals to specific locations

  • Generate location-level reports and statements


Creating a new location (dashboard)

  1. Go to Locations from the left navigation menu

  2. Click New location

  3. In the popup:

    • Choose a colour code

    • Enter a location name

    • Add the location address

  4. Click Save location settings

The new location will be created and appear as a location card.


Viewing and editing a location

  1. Click on a location card

  2. At the top of the page, you can see:

    • Location name

    • Colour code

    • Address

  3. Click Edit to update any of this information


Location transaction overview

Within a location, you can see:

  • Transaction volume

  • Transaction count

You can switch between:

  • Today

  • Yesterday

  • This week

  • This month

  • Custom date range


Generating a statement for a location

  1. Open the location

  2. Click Statement on the right side

  3. Select the date range

  4. Click Generate statement

You can then:

  • Download the statement

  • Or receive it by email

The statement will include transactions for that location only.


Assigning terminals to a location

How terminal assignments work

  • Each terminal is assigned to one location at a time

  • All transactions from that terminal are reported under the assigned location


Assign a terminal

  1. Open the location

  2. Click Edit terminals

  3. In the popup, you’ll see all terminals with status badges:

    • Available (green) – not assigned to a location

    • Current location (blue) – already assigned to this location

    • Assigned to another location (shown in the list)

  4. Select the terminal(s) you want to assign

  5. Click Save terminal assignments

Once assigned, all future transactions from the terminal will be reported under that location.


Reassign a terminal

You can select a terminal that is currently assigned to a different location and assign it to the new location. The terminal will be moved automatically.


Using locations on mobile

On the mobile app:

  1. Tap Account

  2. Scroll down and select Locations

Location setup, reporting, and terminal assignment work the same way as on the dashboard.


Deleting a location

Locations cannot be deleted from the dashboard or mobile app.

To delete a location, contact Zavo Support.
