Viewing your terminals
Log in to dashboard.zavopay.com
Select Terminals from the left navigation menu
On the Terminals page, you’ll see:
Shop terminals – takes you to the Zavo Shop to order new terminals
Set up a new terminal – used to assign a new terminal to your account
My terminals – a list of all terminals assigned to your account
Setting up a new terminal
Click Set up a new terminal
In the popup, enter the terminal serial ID
The serial ID can be found:
On the back of the terminal, or
On the terminal under Settings > Configuration
Click Assign
Once assigned, the terminal will appear in the My terminals list with its name and serial number.
Editing a terminal
To manage a terminal:
Select the terminal from the My terminals list
From the terminal page, you can:
Edit the terminal nickname
Configure tipping and receipt settings
View terminal PIN codes
Edit terminal nickname
Click Edit nickname next to the terminal name.
Nicknames help you easily identify and differentiate terminals, especially if you have multiple devices.
Terminal configuration
On the right-hand side of the terminal page, you’ll find Configuration, which includes:
Tipping settings
Receipt settings
Terminal PIN
Tipping settings
Click Tipping settings
Enable tipping
Once enabled, choose one of the following options:
Custom amount
Customers can enter any tip amount
A numpad appears on the terminal after payment
Fixed tip amounts
Set predefined tip options:
Fixed amounts (for example: £5, £10, £20), or
Percentages (for example: 5%, 10%, 20%)
Click Save tip settings
Restart the terminal to apply the changes
Receipt settings
Click Receipt settings
Configure receipt printing for:
Customer receipt
Merchant receipt
For each receipt type, you can choose whether to print when a payment is:
Approved
Declined
Cancelled
Save your changes
Restart the terminal if prompted
Terminal PIN codes
Below receipt settings, you’ll find Terminal PIN.
Click Terminal PIN to view your terminal passcodes
To change terminal PIN codes, contact:
Zavo Support, or
Your Account Manager
PIN codes cannot be changed directly from the dashboard.
