User management

User management lets you add team members to your Zavo account with custom permissions. This is useful for employees, managers, accountants, or external partners.

What you can do with user management

With user management, you can:

  • Add multiple users to your account

  • Assign custom permissions per user

  • Control access to payments, payouts, transactions, and settings

  • Grant full admin access or limit access by role


Adding a new user

  1. Go to dashboard.zavopay.com

  2. Select Users from the left navigation menu

  3. Click Add your first user (or Add user if users already exist)

A popup will open where you need to enter:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Email address


Assigning permissions

After entering the user details, select the permissions you want to assign.


Full admin access

  • Grants access to all permissions

  • Recommended for owners or senior managers


Custom permissions

You can configure permissions individually for each user.

Payments

Access to:

  • Tap to Pay

  • Payment links

  • Terminals


Transactions

Access to:

  • View transactions

  • Create transactions

  • Process refunds

  • Send receipts


Balance and payouts

Access to:

  • View balances

  • View payouts

  • Create instant payouts

  • Generate payout reports


General

Access to:

  • Manage rewards

  • View profile and account settings

  • Manage locations

You can mix and match permissions based on each user’s role.


Saving and confirming access

  1. Review the permissions you have selected

  2. Click Add user

A confirmation screen will appear showing the access being granted.
Once confirmed, the popup will close.


Managing existing users

After adding a user, they will appear under Team members.

Select a user to:

  1. Resend the invitation email

  2. Remove the user

  3. Edit or customise permissions

You can update permissions at any time by toggling access on or off and saving the changes.
