Static payment links

Static payment links are reusable payment links that allow customers to enter and pay a custom amount. These links do not expire and can be shared with multiple customers.

How static payment links work

  • One permanent payment link

  • Customers choose how much to pay

  • No expiry date

  • Suitable for donations, tips, or flexible payments


Creating a static payment link

On desktop (dashboard)

  1. Go to dashboard.zavopay.com

  2. Select Payment links from the left navigation menu

  3. In the centre of the page, select Static payment link

  4. Click Enable static payment link

A popup will appear where you can optionally enter:

  • Item name

    • The name of the product or service

    • Displayed to customers

  • Merchant name

    • Your business or account name

    • Displayed to customers

Both fields are optional and can be left blank.

Click Enable to generate your static payment link.


Sharing the static payment link

Once enabled:

  • A static payment link is generated

  • You can share this link with any customer

When customers open the link, they can:

  • Enter a custom payment amount

  • Enter their name and email

  • Complete payment using their card details


Managing static payment links

From the Static payment link settings, you can:

  • Update the item name

  • Update the merchant name

  • Regenerate or update the payment link


Viewing static payment link payments

Payments made using a static payment link:

  • Appear in your Transactions list

  • Are also visible under the Static payment link tab
