📞 MOTO (Card Not Present) Payments

Zavo supports MOTO (Mail Order / Telephone Order) payments — but to keep your account secure, this feature isn’t enabled by default.

🔓 How to Get MOTO Enabled

MOTO can be activated once you have:

  • 3+ months of safe payment processing history with Zavo
    or

  • A 24-month payment processing statement from your previous provider

Once we review this, we’ll enable MOTO on your account.


📞 Taking a MOTO Payment (Card Not Present)

Once MOTO is enabled on your Zavo account, you can take payments by manually entering your customer’s card details.


🧾 How to Process a MOTO Payment

  • MOTO enabled for the first time: Restart your terminal
    Hold down the power button to restart the device after MOTO is activated.

  • Go to: Transactions > New Transaction

  • Enter your Transactions passcode
    Then select Continue

  • Select: Manual Key Entry

  • Enter the payment amount and confirm

  • Input the customer’s card details on screen

  • Press Charge to complete the transaction
