✅ Assigning your Zavo Mini terminal
To link your new terminal to your Zavo account, just follow these quick steps:
Download the Zavo mobile app on iPhone or Android
Tap “Manage Your Terminals”
Select “Set Up New Terminal”
Enter the terminal serial number (found in the terminal’s settings under Device Info)
Tap “Register Terminal”
Restart the terminal
Once restarted, your terminal will be assigned and ready to accept payments.

🚀 Getting Started
To power up your new Zavo Mini terminal:
Inspect the terminal
Charge and power on the device
Select your preferred language
Connect to Wi-Fi or use mobile network
Assign the terminal to your store
Once these steps are complete, you're ready to accept payments.
✅ Step-by-Step Setup
1. Inspect the Terminal
Before first use:
Check the shipping box is sealed and undamaged
Match the serial number (S/N) on the box with your Zavo Dashboard
Inspect the device for signs of tampering: missing screws, unusual attachments, etc.
🚨 If anything seems suspicious, contact Zavo Support immediately
2. Power On & Charge
To turn on: Hold the power button until the screen lights up
To turn off: Hold the power button and confirm shutdown
Charge for at least 4 hours during first use
Battery level is shown in the top corner of the screen
3. Select Your Language
Choose your preferred language from the Welcome screen.
4. Connect to a Network
Wi-Fi Setup:
Tap the arrow button after language selection
Tap + to add a new network
Enable WLAN
Choose or manually enter the Wi-Fi name (SSID)
Enter your password and connect
Once connected, a Wi-Fi icon will appear at the top
Cellular Backup:
Zavo Mini has a pre-installed eSIM
It will automatically switch to 4G if Wi-Fi disconnects
If you have an older device without an active eSIM, contact Zavo Support
5. Confirm Store Assignment
On the Confirm Store screen:
Tap ✅ to assign the terminal to your store
If the wrong store appears, tap ✏️ to edit
If this screen doesn’t appear, wait up to 3 hours for the next sync and try again
⚙ Terminal Menus & Settings
Access menus via Settings:

Device Info | See serial number, software version, IP address, and assigned store |

🔎 How to View Your PIN Codes
You’ll need a PIN to access restricted features like settings, refunds, or advanced configurations.
To view your terminal PIN codes:
Log in to the Zavo Dashboard or open the Zavo mobile app
Go to Settings
Tap Terminal PIN Codes to view your assigned codes
🔁 Changing Your PIN
To change your terminal PIN codes:
Contact Zavo Support or your account manager
A new code will be securely assigned to your account
For security reasons, PIN changes must be handled manually by our team.
💡 Tip
Your PIN code will remain the same unless changed by you or support.
Feel free to store it somewhere secure and convenient for easy access.
💳 Accepting Payments
The Zavo Mini is fully standalone — no extra hardware or POS system needed.
Tap Payment
Ask the customer to tap, insert, or swipe their card
Follow the on-screen steps
Optionally send the receipt from the Zavo dashboard or mobile app
🔄 View & Reset Totals
Track sales, refunds, and tips using the Totals report.
To access it:
Go to Transactions > Totals
Enter your Transactions passcode
View or reset the totals for daily or shift reporting
To set automatic resets, contact Zavo Support
✈️ Airplane Mode
If required (e.g. in-flight use), you can enable Airplane Mode to disconnect all networks.
Contact Zavo Support to enable this feature
Go to Settings > Network, then toggle Airplane Mode
🔋 Battery Care Tips
For long-lasting battery performance:
Store in a cool, dry place
Avoid charging above 70% or letting the battery fully drain
Every 6 months, inspect for leakage or swelling
Recharge periodically during long periods of storage
⚠️ Never ship damaged batteries — dispose of them according to local regulations.

If something goes wrong:
Open the Diagnostics menu under Settings
Check for network or configuration issues
