Overview
This guide explains how to take a card payment on your Zavo terminal and confirm the payment was successful.
Steps
From the Home screen, tap the blue Zavo payment icon
Enter the payment amount
Tap Charge
You can use the on-screen calculator to add, subtract, multiply, or divide amounts
The customer taps, inserts, or presents their card or device
A payment confirmation appears on the screen
Using the calculator
The payment screen includes a built-in calculator.
You can:
Add (+)
Subtract (−)
Multiply (×)
Divide (÷)
Once the final amount is shown, tap Charge to process the payment.
Payment confirmation
After the payment is completed:
A success notification appears on the terminal
The notification shows the most recent payment status
This allows you to quickly confirm whether the last payment was approved or declined
Tap the notification to dismiss it
After the payment
The transaction syncs instantly with your Zavo dashboard
The payment appears in transaction history in real time
